- Buyers have the right to inspect for: Termites, Electrical, Foundation, Structure, Roof, Asbestos, Sewer, Plumbing, Chimney, Gas installation, retrofitting, and more before they remove contingencies. (does your house need any repairs? Is it all up-to-code?)
- Buyers may ask you to lower the price to remove contingencies
- If buyers do not get the loan, they may walk away.
- If sell does not get through, you'll have to relist at a lower price, because the DOM are higher
- If sale goes through, weeks or months after, you most likely will receive less than listed price, minus repairs, minus thousands in commissions.
